Owners and landlords use it to list a property and see what similar homes are advertised for. Agencies use Darscover's software to publish listings and manage enquiries. And Darscover publishes free data on the Maltese property market, including the quarterly Malta Rent Index and Malta Asking Price Index.

Why we say Malta's No.1 international property portal
Malta's property market is international: buyers, renters and investors come from across Europe and beyond. Darscover is published in 14 languages (English, Maltese, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Danish, Swedish and Chinese), with listings translated automatically into each of them. Of the 17 Malta property portals and agency websites we checked on 5 October 2026, 15 are published in English only. Behind those 14 languages sit 65,979 live listings from 23 estate agencies and private owners, in 68 of Malta's 68 localities.

How our data works
- Listings come from licensed agency feeds, agencies publishing through Darscover's software, facts-only listings indexed from agencies' own websites (respecting each site's robots.txt), and owners listing directly.
- Each listing is mapped to one of Malta's 68 localities, a property type, bedrooms, size and an asking price in euro. Uploaded images pass automated moderation.
- Market statistics are medians and quartiles of asking prices, not achieved prices. Adverts flagged as duplicates of the same property, adverts without a price and implausible prices are excluded, and no statistic is published from fewer than 10 listings.
- Every index release states its sample size, its exclusions, the number of sources and the share of the largest two. Full methodology.
