What this index is, and is not
These are asking prices from listings advertised on one portal, not achieved rents and not a census of the Maltese rental market. The sample is concentrated among a small number of advertising agencies, which the methodology quantifies each quarter. Areas and segments with fewer than 10 qualifying listings are suppressed rather than published. Read the full methodology.

Data downloads and reuse
Every release is downloadable as CSV and JSON, including sample sizes and suppression flags, so any published figure can be checked.
