Press room

The Darscover Malta Rent Index publishes quarterly asking-rent statistics for Malta and Gozo. This page has everything you need to cite it: headline figures, copy-ready quotes, charts, the raw data and a contact. Free to use with attribution to “Darscover Malta Rent Index” and a link.

How to describe the figures

These are asking rents from listings advertised on Darscover — what landlords ask, not what tenants pay, and not a census of the whole market. Please say “median asking rent” rather than “average rent”, and note the sample is concentrated among a small number of agencies. The methodology quantifies this every quarter.

Latest release: Q2 2026

Covers listings first advertised 1 April 2026 30 June 2026 (416 qualifying listings). Full release.
