About Sliema
Sliema is Malta's seafront strip and most cosmopolitan address.
Sliema is Malta's coastal flagship, a dense urban strip running along the Marsamxett harbour from Tigné Point in the south to St Julian's in the north. Originally a 19th century summer retreat for Valletta nobility, today it is the country's most cosmopolitan address, packed with high-rise apartments, retail towers, and an unbroken seafront promenade.

Houses of Character
A house of character is an old Maltese townhouse or village core property that retains its original architectural features: limestone arches, timber beams, patterned tiles, internal courtyards and often a well. They are found in the historic centres of Valletta, Birgu, Senglea, Bormla, Rabat, Mdina, Zejtun, Zurrieq and across Gozo. Unlike a farmhouse, they sit inside a village or city street rather than on open land, so they trade on interior volume and period detail. Many are scheduled or fall within urban conservation areas, which constrains alterations but supports value. Buyers commonly filter for bedroom count, whether a courtyard or roof terrace is included, and whether the property is restored or requires works.
Private Balcony
A private balcony offers valuable outdoor space for relaxation, dining, and enjoying fresh air without leaving your home. This amenity is highly sought after in apartments and penthouses throughout Malta and Gozo, providing a personal outdoor retreat in urban environments. Balconies may offer sea views, city views, or simply a quiet space for plants and outdoor furniture. They are particularly popular in coastal areas like Sliema, St. Julian's, and Valletta, where residents can enjoy Mediterranean breezes and scenic surroundings. Whether large or compact, a balcony significantly enhances the living experience and property value.
