Introduction terms for firms

Last updated 5 October 2026

  1. The person asked. Every introduction is a request a person made on Darscover. Before anything was sent, they agreed to a sentence naming your firm, and we keep a record of that sentence, its language and the date.
  2. Free, no obligation. Without an agreement with Darscover there is no fee and no obligation to take the enquiry. If you can, tell us what happened with the buttons in the email (contacted, quoted, won, or not for you): it is how we send people to firms that can help them.
  3. Use the details for this enquiry only. You receive the person's details as an independent controller under the GDPR and are responsible for how you use them. Contact the person about what they asked, and for nothing else: no marketing, and no passing them on.
  4. If they withdraw. A person can withdraw at any time. If they do, we tell you by email; stop contacting them about the enquiry and delete their details, unless you already act for them or the law requires you to keep them.
  5. If you are not taking it forward. Please delete their details.
  6. Telling us. Reply to the introduction email, or write to team@darscover.com. Replies come to Darscover, never to the person.
  7. Stopping introductions. Every email has a link that stops introductions for one service or for all of them. It opens a page with one button, and introductions stop as soon as you press it; your mail client's unsubscribe button stops them at once too. We restart them only if your firm asks us in writing.
  8. Your address and your details. We write only to the enquiries address your firm publishes, and we name a register entry for your firm only after we have checked it on the public register. If anything we hold about your firm is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
  9. Data protection. Questions about personal data: legal@darscover.com.
